Girl Gear was founded by Shelly Reiner of Saint Paul, Minnesota in 2008. An avid motorcyclist herself, she felt apparel was designed with excellent safety features, but lacked feminine appeal. Her goal is to design colors and patterns that are bold and attractive.
Girl Gear jackets are waterproof, windproof, breathable and express style. They include safety features such as body armor, pavement tolerant denier and reflective piping/panels.
